How
is Sunrider's compensation plan different?
There are many direct selling and multilevel compensation plans available such as binary systems and straight systems. However, Sunrider's compensation plan is unique and superior in several important ways:
- Make money from the beginning. In many network systems, new people have trouble making money right away because the money flows disproportionately to the uplines. Also, networks simply take time to build. Sunrider has a fair and generous compensation plan. In our plan, new IBOs can start making money as soon as they sign up. This is in addition to the profits new IBOs make from selling our award-winning products. There is no "ground-floor" opportunity. You can earn all the bonuses no matter when you join.
- Make a stable, long-term income. Unlike other companies which pay out only 10% to 40%, Sunrider pays out 20% of Sunrider sales price for the Trainer Bonus and an actual 58.5% of company sales volume (SV). This payout doesn’t include retail sales. Rewards include generous bonus checks, dream homes, new automobiles, and fun vacations.* Other companies come and go, but Sunrider has been in business since 1982 and has never missed a payout.

Is Sunrider a pyramid scheme?
No! Sunrider is an international company with a stable, successful
history. Sunrider provides its IBOs with outstanding products
and a legitimate business opportunity. There are very important
differences between an illegal pyramid scheme and a legitimate multilevel
marketing (MLM) company like Sunrider:
Real products, real customers: Sunrider offers a wide variety of high-quality herbal food and supplements,
skin care, and home products at a competitive price. Sunrider's
business is based on repeat customers who enjoy our products. Our IBOs are our most loyal consumers.
Pyramid schemes, however, do not offer a real product
or will charge unreasonable prices for a cheap product.
Commissions based on product sales: Sunrider pays commissions and bonuses to IBOs solely based
on their product sales, i.e., their sales volume. Sunrider does
not compensate IBOs for merely recruiting or sponsoring
another IBO, nor does it charge high fees for marketing
tools. On the other hand, pyramid schemes usually base compensation
on recruiting new people and charge high fees for marketing tools
because they don't have a legitimate product to sell.
Cost of joining Sunrider is low: The fee for the Starter Pack is comparable or even lower in
comparison to other legitimate MLMs. Customers can also join
for free. Pyramid schemes often require exorbitant fees to join
because they make their profits on signing new recruits, not selling
real products.
No inventory required: Because
Sunrider bases its business on selling high-quality products to
consumers, we do not require that IBOs maintain large inventories.
In contrast, pyramid schemes may pressure or require you to purchase
large inventories and training materials.
Anyone can make money: Making
money in a pyramid scheme requires getting in at the "ground level."

What is the difference between an IBO, a Sunrider Club Member
and a Customer?
An IBO is someone who
wants to build a Sunrider business and experience our wonderful financial opportunity.
IBOs earn generous bonuses and retail profits by selling products and Starter Packs
and finding others who want to do the same. IBOs also buy products at the Sunrider Sales
Price (a 20% savings off the retail price). You can become an IBO by purchasing the
Starter Pack and signing the IBO Agreement.
A Sunrider Club Member is someone
who wants to buy Sunrider products at the Sales Price. You can become
a Sunrider Club Member for $30. When you accumulate US$700
worth of products, you can advance to our Silver Club Membership and enjoy
an additional 10% savings off the Sales Price. Accumulate US$1,000 in 12
months, and you will advance to our Gold Club Membership and enjoy an
additional 20% savings off the Sales Price.
A Customer is someone
who enjoys Sunrider Products. Customers can buy products
directly from Sunrider at the retail price. You can become a

If I am a Sunrider Club Member or Customer, how can I upgrade
to become an IBO?
Customers or Sunrider Club Members who have not yet purchased the Starter Pack can upgrade to an IBO at any time by purchasing the Starter Pack and submitting
a completed IBO Application.
Sunrider Club Members can also upgrade to an IBO by accumulating $200
worth of product purchases in 6 months, submitting a completed IBO Application,
and paying a $10 registration fee.
Customers can upgrade to an IBO after accumulating $500 worth of product
purchases, submitting a completed IBO Application, and paying a $10
registration fee.

How do I sign up new people in a different country?
IBOs who have already accumulated $500 in group
product purchases and purchased a Starter Pack in their home country can
sign up new IBOs in any country that Sunrider does business (except China
and Korea). Simply give the new IBO your
country, name, and e-mail address. The new IBO needs to submit only one application either by signing
up online or sending their application form to their local country
office. From then on, they can start to earn retail profits and bonuses on the purchase
of your new downline.

Do you sell Sunrider® products in retail stores?
Sunrider® products are sold through our IBOs. You may also buy products directly from Sunrider. Traditional retailing involves tremendously high costs such as leasing stores, paying management and employees, and advertising. What is the Philosophy of Regeneration?
Dr. Tei-Fu Chen, developed the Philosophy
of Regeneration™ after thorough study of Chinese and Western medicines.
According to the Philosophy of Regeneration™, the body can balance and
"regenerate" itself by nourishing and cleansing the body with the proper nutrition. Thus,

Why do we have warnings on some of our product labels?
The materials contained on this website are for informational
purposes only. The information should not be considered legal advice

jurisdiction.
Occasionally Sunrider IBOs ask why some of our labels and
marketing literature contain warnings such as those found on our
SPF products. They feel that because our products are safe there
is no need for warnings and are worried that warnings might even
hurt sales. While it is true that our products are safe and manufactured
according to our strict quality control standards, federal and/or
state law sometimes requires certain products sold in the U.S. to
carry very specific warning statements.
For instance, all products that contain a sun protection factor
(SPF) are considered to be over-the-counter drugs (OTCs) by the
FDA and are required to carry a warning on the label that includes
a statement that the product is for external use only, should be
kept out of the reach of children and to discontinue use of the
product if irritation or a rash appears. Therefore, because products
such as Oi-Lin® Natural Emulsion contain an SPF of 30, Sunrider complies
with the law by carrying the required warning on the label.
Even some dietary supplements require a warning if certain ingredients
are in the product. California state law requires a very specific
statement regarding the possible laxative effect of Cassia tora
even if there has never been a complaint about a particular product
containing this botanical. Therefore, because Cassia tora is one
of the ingredients in Sunrider's Sportcaps dietary supplement, the
required warning appears on the label and has so since 1998 with
no negative effect on sales.
Sunrider strives to make the very best products in compliance with
all state and federal laws. Therefore, any warnings appearing on
our product labels or in our literature should be viewed with confidence
because it demonstrates Sunrider's concern with the safety and well-being
of our IBOs.
